Law & Medicine E-Learning System
Our friends at Law & Medicine needed help creating an E-Learning solution which allows doctors from across the country to: securely purchase online e-learning modules via a custom e-commerce shopping cart; participate in online courses at their own pace; complete a web-based quiz with randomly generated questions; and once passed print a CME certificate. The system saves their progress along the way so they can always pickup where they left off. If quiz questions are answered incorrectly help is displayed to better educate the customer as to why their answer was wrong.
Some modules include securely delivered audio files the doctors can listen to at their own pace before completing the quiz. This solution eliminates the need for costly CD's and shipping expenses while giving the doctor an all-in-one interface to learn concepts, view PDF materials and complete the online quiz.
While the customer's side of this project is robust and easy to use, it's only half of the solution. The Law & Medicine backend is where they can securely manage modules, quizzes, quiz material, run reports, view orders, view customers and more. We also created a special reporting section for hospital administrators to monitor the progress of their doctors in real-time.

One to One Broadcasting / One to One Tours
One to One Broadcasting is an innovative company specializing in creating studio quality tours of destinations around the globe. Tours are available in the following formats: downloadable MP3, pre-loaded MP3 players, audio CD and DVD.
We created an e-commerce solution for their One to One Tours web site by integrating a shopping cart with Google Checkout. As customers add items to their cart they are stored in the local database. Then when ready to checkout, the contents of the cart are securely handed off to Google for credit card processing.
Once payment is received, MP3 audio files of the tours are downloaded via a customer's unique purchase code which is delivered to them automatically.
Customers can then use the purchased tours to visit the various locations and take their tour at their own pace.
Triangle Classic Cars & Restoration:
We customized and implemented the Joomla Content Management System (CMS) for Triangle. This open source CMS allows them to delegate content management tasks to different authorized users.
With a few mouse clicks the system uploads Zip files and automatically extracts, resizes and imports JPEG photographs contained within the Zip file. This feature alone saves massive amounts of time and helps automate the daunting task of manually manipulating hundreds of photos and loading them on to the web site.
This project is a great example of how we can implement pre-packaged software to save you time and money without "reinventing the wheel." If your project requires customized development some of the examples below will showcase our capabilities.
Weddings by Colortech Inc.:
This is a robust e-commerce web site we designed and developed for Colortech Inc. It allows customers to customize and purchase high-quality printed wedding products online. This web-based software is a great example of the customized solutions we can provide.
The web site is easy to use as it walks customers through creating their items. Clearly labeled next and previous buttons allow them to flip between steps of the customization process. Each step of the way is saved to the database so it's easy for them to pick up where they left off. The steps displayed are different depending on which product they are creating and range from photo uploading to selecting a font or typing custom text.
When finished, customers can securely checkout using real-time credit card processing. We also implemented a vast administrative console where orders can be managed, processed and the customer notified when PDF proofs are ready for viewing.
American Sampler Cast Iron Online:
We created a database-driven inventory system allowing for easy management of products on the client's web site. The features include multiple photograph uploading with automatic resizing and thumbnail creation along with simple form-based entry of product information.

PABands.com:
This project is a database driven web site allowing thousands of Pennsylvania's finest musicians to create and manage their bands on an searchable Band Listing and on the Event Calendar.
Initially PABands.com was a static HTML web site which required hours of manual maintenance through a web editor. As the site grew in popularity it became clear that management needed to be available to the users. So we developed this system which gives users full control over their account totally removing the site owners from the process.
PABands.com now receives 20,000 to 30,000 visitors each month and is completely self sustaining with users keeping their own information up to date.
Haak's Auto Sales - Inventory Management Database:
This Inventory Management Database was our answer to another static HTML nightmare. It didn't take Haak's Auto Sales long before they realized that managing a static HTML web site isn't a good use of their time. So we developed an Inventory Management Database which allows authorized users to add, update and delete vehicles within their inventory via a single interface.
The system uploads JPEG photographs and automatically resizes them into a seperate detail and thumbnail images. The interface is extremely easy to use with minimal required fields and a predefined (and also manageable) list of features that each car could have. This options/features list is presented to the administrative users as a simple series of checkboxes.
The system's front-end is also extremely usable and breaks out of the mold seen on most car dealer web sites. The inventory appears as a sortable summary list of vehicles with clickable links to each vehicle's unique detail page. It also allows customers to easily send a vehicle's information to a friend without having to manually type the e-mail themselves.
As vehicles are sold they are deleted with just two mouse clicks which automatically removes them from the front-end and deletes both photographs from the server.
