History as a Brand
Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge was founded on the principal that educating and enriching the lives of the nation’s youth equips the next generation of engaged citizens. The redesign focused on streamlining messaging and enhancing engagement. We worked to design a site that conveys their deep spirit of patriotism as well as their passion for education.
Designing For Education
We started by focusing on the website’s users: young people and the people who teach them. We drew inspiration from effective online teaching platforms, higher education institutions, and high functioning public institution and non profit organizations. Freedoms Foundation has a wealth of knowledge to pass on and we needed to remove every obstacle to the user finding and digesting that info. The result is a streamlined and elegant design with a content forward approach.
Community Support
Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge relies heavily on the support of its many supporting chapters and donors around the country. We built a WordPress multi site that allows the various chapter sites to customize their subdomains to best serve the communities where they live. All in an effort to boost donations and local community engagement across the country.
