The Problem

PPA’s website serves multiple audiences: licensed pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, students, employers, and policymakers. Each is seeking different resources, event information, advocacy materials, and continuing education. The existing site structure is content-rich but overwhelming, with inconsistent navigation, redundant pathways to key resources, and limited personalization or audience segmentation.

- Improve discoverability of high-value resources such as continuing education, career center tools, legislative updates, and events.

The Process
Discovery, Strategy, Implementation
We conducted cross-department sessions with PPA leadership, membership services, education teams, and advocacy coordinators to understand strategic priorities and digital needs. Based on that critical insight, we created user personas and mapped their key tasks to user journeys. Next, we performed a thorough audit of existing content, removing duplication, consolidating related information, and restructuring menus for clarity.
