Privacy Policy

Introduction

Mile 6, LLC (“Mile6,” “we,” or “us”) values its visitors’ privacy. This privacy policy is effective as of March 16, 2021 and was last updated August 25, 2026; it summarizes what information we might collect from a registered user or other visitor (“you”), and what we will and will not do with it.

Please note that this privacy policy does not govern the collection and use of information by companies that Mile6 does not control, nor by individuals not employed or managed by Mile6. If you visit a website that we mention or link to, be sure to review its privacy policy before providing the site with information.

What We Do With Your Personally Identifiable Information

It is always up to you whether to disclose personally identifiable information to us, although if you elect not to do so, we reserve the right not to register you as a user or provide you with any products or services. “Personally identifiable information” means information that can be used to identify you as an individual, such as, for example:

  • your name, company, email address, phone number, billing address, and shipping address;
  • any account-preference information you provide to us;
  • your computer’s domain name and IP address, indicating where your computer is located on the Internet;
  • session data for your login session, so that our computer can ‘talk’ to yours while you are logged in.

If you do provide personally identifiable information to us, either directly or through a reseller or other business partner, we will not:

  • sell, rent, distribute, or disclose your personally identifiable information to a third party for marketing purposes, and take commercially reasonable precautions to protect the information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction;
  • Use or sell personal data to train large language models;
  • use or disclose the information except:
    • as necessary to provide services or products you have ordered, such as (for example) by providing it to a carrier to deliver products you have ordered;
    • in other ways described in this privacy policy or to which you have otherwise consented;
    • in the aggregate with other information in such a way so that your identity cannot reasonably be determined (for example, statistical compilations);
    • as required by law, for example, in response to a subpoena or search warrant;
    • to outside auditors who have agreed to keep the information confidential;
    • as necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of Mile 6, LLC, its users, or others; this may include (for example) exchanging information with other organizations for fraud protection and/or risk reduction.

Your Privacy Rights and Choices

You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, request that we correct inaccurate information, request that we delete your personal information, and object to or restrict certain uses of it, subject to applicable law and the exceptions described below.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in the “Contact Us” section below. We will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before processing your request and will respond within a reasonable time, generally within 30 days.

We may decline a request in certain circumstances, for example where we are required by law to retain the information, where honoring the request would interfere with an ongoing legal, security, or fraud-prevention matter, or where the request is unfounded or excessive.

We will not discriminate against you, or provide you a lesser level of service, for exercising any of these rights.

Other Information We Collect

We may collect other information that is not considered personal identifiable information. We may use this information, individually or in the aggregate, for technical administration of our Web site(s); research and development; customer and account administration; and to help us focus our marketing efforts more precisely.

Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies

Mile6, LLC uses “cookies” to store data on your computer. We may also link information stored on your computer in cookies with personal data about specific individuals stored on our servers. If you set up your Web browser (for example, Chrome or Firefox) so that cookies are not allowed, you might not be able to use some or all of the features of our Web site(s).

We may also use analytics and advertising technologies provided by third parties, such as Google Analytics, to help us understand how visitors use our website. These third parties may use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your online activity over time and across different websites. To learn about opting out of interest-based advertising, visit the Digital Advertising Alliance’s consumer opt-out page at optout.aboutads.info.

External Data Storage Sites

We may store your data on servers provided by third-party hosting vendors. While we select vendors we believe follow reasonable security practices, we do not control their systems directly and cannot guarantee the security of data once it is in their possession.

Data Retention

We generally retain personal information for as long as your account or business relationship with Mile6 remains active, and for a reasonable period afterward, to support our business records, legal, tax, and accounting obligations. We do not automatically delete personal information after a set period. If you would like us to delete your personal information, you may submit a request as described in the “Your Privacy Rights and Choices” section above and we will honor that request except where we are permitted or required to retain the information.

Your Privacy Responsibilities

To help protect your privacy:

  • Do not share your user ID or password with anyone else;
  • Log off the Mile6, LLC Web site when you are finished;
  • Take customary precautions to guard against “malware” (viruses, Trojan horses, bots, etc.), for example by installing and updating suitable anti-virus software.

You can request to see or delete your personal data at any time by contacting us as described in the “Contact Us” section below.

International Users and Data Transfers

Mile6, LLC’s operations are located primarily in the United States. If you provide information to us and you are located outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those of your country. By providing personal information to us, you are consenting to its storage and use as described herein.

Information Collected From Children

You must be at least 13 years old to use Mile6, LLC’s Web site(s) and service(s). Mile6, LLC does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. (See the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.) If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verified parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information as soon as reasonably possible.

Security and Data Breach Notification

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and take appropriate action in accordance with applicable law.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to change this privacy policy as we deem necessary or appropriate because of legal compliance requirements or changes in our business practices. If you have provided us with an email address, we will endeavor to notify you, by email to that address, of any material change to how we will use personally identifiable information. We will also update the “last updated” date at the top of this policy whenever a material change is made, and we encourage you to review this policy periodically.
